How come my website is inaccessible when on data?

I have a reverse proxy set up on my server with nginx and apache if that makes a xifference. Basically, I cant access my website by data. Wifi works fine, but as soon as I turn wifi off and try using data, it gives me connection issues. These issues happen on both Chrom and Firefox.

Hey friend,

To me this sounds like a case of DNS propagation. When you switch between wifi and cellular data, you most likely switch DNS resolvers. Did you very recently change the DNS for your domain? What happens if you access by direct IP instead?

I have not made any recent changes to DNS, however; this issue has been going on since I’ve made my website. I forgot about it until a user recently brought up the fact they can not use data. Knowing this, it has to be with how I configured the server.

Whenever I try to reach my site by IP address, I don’t get through to it. This is on both data and wifi. I assume you meant to enter the IP address of the site into the search bar, if not please correct me. The domain name works, and this only works on wifi.

Some info that might help is even though the IP address does not work, when I add a port number to it, it works. This is the port number that leads to my server control panel. The server panel porn works when used with my IP address, on both data and wifi. However, when I go to my IP address, without adding the port after it, the IP address does not work on both data and wifi.

I’m a bit of a tech noob, so I apologize in advance. Perhaps I am missing something regarding a port number, I am not too sure. Thank you kindly for your help and for your time.
