How do I access my root files?

Hey everyone I need to access my _root files to release my Wordpress site from Maintenance mode. I was updating plugins and after was done the site got stuck into it. I have no knowledge whatsoever and I really need guidance to do that once my DEV is out of town and he’s the one who takes care of my DO.

What you could do is to use FileZilla with SFTP to access your DigitalOcean server.

You can follow the steps here on how to do that:

Alternatively, if you are used to using SSH, you could do that as well by following the steps here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/connect-with-ssh/

By default the WordPress files should be stored at /var/www/html. The html part might be different depending on your setup.
