I want to know how to allow multiple clients using a different machine to connect to my open-vpn server on my digital ocean droplet ??
I’ve searched through the net but can’t find a direct straight forward answer to my question. im just left confused !
Im running my open-vpn server on a ubuntu droplet. I’ve setup my vpn properly and it’s working as expected but i can only connect to it from one machine at a time. how do i enable simultaneous connections to the same droplet IP ? Must i do anything with the certs ?
I hope someone could shed some light here.
Thank you

Hello,
I believe that by default, OpenVPN doesn’t allow multiple clients to connect with the same key, basically, each user must have their own key.
To change that behavior you need to add duplicate-cn to your config at /etc/openvpn/server.conf.
This will allow multiple clients to share the same certificate/key files.
