Hi there,

There has been a similar question here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/can-i-change-timezone-in-the-do-managed-mysql-database

The two suggestions were:

  • Use the DigitalOcean API:

First, use a GET request to get a list of your databases, and take the ID of the database you’re looking to change the settings for.

Then, use this API call:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/reference/api/api-reference/#operation/databases_patch_config

Using your auth token and the body:

{“config”: { “default_time_zone”: “Europe/London” }} <-- Change the timezone as you wish.
  • The second option is to reach out to the DigitalOcean support team and ask them to do this for you.

Hope that this helps!

Best,

Bobby
