My original droplet was hacked. The snapshot was too old to simply use for a new droplet and I was not satisfied with the installation - therefore - I decided to try another droplet - this time with zpanel.
Installed ZPanel. Installed WordPress
Site loads
Now I moved the DNS from DO control panel for amdviews.com to point to the new IP.
Unfortunately now amdviews loads zpanel rather than tuxreports.com/amd
The domain is mapped properly with a wordpress plugin. In fact whatisnew.com loads to tuxreports.com/whatisnew
I need a walk through … how do I configure the DNS in ZPanel to get wildcard working for tuxreports.com? I tried to add a * in CNAME in ZPANEL but it refuses to save.
Of course - all this worked on the other droplet without zpanel - so my guess is that it’s something within zpanel.
