How do I connect remotely to my VPS?

Hello. I’m new to VPS’, and I don’t know how I would remote desktop connect to my ubuntu VPS. I’ve installed ubuntu-desktop, but what do I need other than that? I appreciate any answers. Thanks

You need to connect via SSH using IP address of your Droplet, username root and password you got in mail from DigitalOcean.

In case you used SSH public key, you will not get password in mail. Instead of it use key you specified on Droplet creation.

How to connect via SSH to Droplet tutorial should explain you how to do it on your OS.

SSH will give you console access t Droplet (VPS), if you want remote desktop, you need to install VNC. How to Install and Configure VNC on Ubuntu 16.04 will explain you how to do it.
