How do I correct droplet timzone

Posted on January 30, 2014

my new Ubuntu droplet shows the timezone as + 5 hours what it really is in NYC. I assume this is GMT.

Is this standard and desired behaviour?

It is making the datestamps harder to recognize!

thanks!
