First you should have a backup of your “Very Important Information”, an external backup. Now have you tried to restore your image in a new droplet? on a new zone?
DO is not an enterprise environment for “Critical Systems” it is a developers environment, where if you know what you do you can host some applications, but even then you should backup all your data to a 3rd party external source. For Critical Systems use AWS, where you pay good $$ for support.
Not trying to be an ass but you need to realize that DO is not the place for business applications, is great place for development, and backup platforms, but definitely is not Amazon, no doubt about that.
Now try to be nice and respectful with support employees at DO to get your data back and migrate to a best fit platform, and backup, backup, backup.
I hope you get your data back.
