How do I know I've received 100$ credit which was sent in an email to me.

I’ve received an email, that says I’ll be granted a 100$ credit in case I sign up. I did sign up but don’t see any money available for my account. All that I see is the current usage amount which is 0$.
Have I missed something? How can I verify a balance available for me to use on DigitalOcean?

Hi @geo5318,

I would assume you’ve received a promo code over your e-mail, is that correct? The promo codes can be added from the Billing page in the Promo code section. In order to create your first Droplet, you must have a valid credit card on your account or make a PayPal deposit even when using a promo code.

If you’ve added a valid credit card or if you’ve made a PayPal deposit you should be able to add the promo code.

If your case is different, and you just received a link that grants you this 100$ credit, adding a valid credit card or making a PayPal deposit should actually give you the 100% credit.
