How do I resize with code

Posted on March 31, 2016

I am wondering if there is a way to put some sort of command in my server to make it decrease and increase based on the time of the day (or even based on a script that runs).

Thanks!

You can, however this would not be recommended unless you’ve got a multi-server architecture that can adapt. The resize options currently require a reboot.

A few ways to interact with our services would be:

The API which can be accessed directly via curl or via any of a number of pre-built libraries.

Also, yesterday we announced doctl, our command line client for Linux, Windows and Mac. If you specify an API key this can be run from your scripts.

Just what I was looking for!!!

Thanks!! :D
