Hello, I’ve completed the initial server setup following this guide https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/initial-server-setup-with-ubuntu-14-04
Would any of you be kind enough to link to a tutorial on what the next step is to be able to access a Remote Desktop from my Mac at home. Thanks in advance.

Hello, @carlarien
On macOS, you can use the built-in Screen Sharing program, or can use a cross-platform app like RealVNC.
Hope that this helps! Regards, Alex
In order to access remote desktop from your MAC computer, you need to use tools like logmein, R-HUB remote support servers, gotomypc etc.
You need to follow this…
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-setup-vnc-for-ubuntu-12
But why would you need Desktop ??
Because the services needed for the same alone would require 1GB RAM to run… CLI is best to configure servers since they wont need additional services hence less requirement of RAM…
