Hi guys,

I’m using a digitalocean droplet but I’m really a beginner into this.

What I want to do is, I want to use one droplet for a blog ( and a normal php&mysql ( I found something in this forum but I’m really a beginner and I need a step by step tutorial.

If anyone can do it, that would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

*sorry for my english

Hi dh370472,

You have to install cpanel/whm on your droplet. Via whm you can host many websites within the limit of your droplet size and bandwidth. you can install some free/open source like cpanel or get a license of Cpanel/WHM and install it. Let me know if you need to install cpanel/whm on your droplet.

You don’t have to install cpanel. To use your apache server with multiple domains you have to set up virtual hosts.
Here’s a tutorial:

You can point your domains to whatever you like.

The Apache web server is the most popular way to serve web content on the internet. Apache has the ability to serve multiple domains from a single server by using a mechanism called "virtual hosts". If a virtual host is configured correctly for each domain, the web server can correctly route traffic to the appropriate files based on the domain name requested. In this guide, we'll demonstrate how to configure Apache virtual hosts on an Ubuntu 14.04 VPS.
