How do I use multiple websites on my droplet (one should be ghost)!

Posted on November 17, 2014

Hi guys,

I’m using a digitalocean droplet but I’m really a beginner into this.

What I want to do is, I want to use one droplet for a blog (firstdomain.com) and a normal php&mysql (seconddomain.com). I found something in this forum but I’m really a beginner and I need a step by step tutorial.

If anyone can do it, that would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

*sorry for my english

You don’t have to install cpanel. To use your apache server with multiple domains you have to set up virtual hosts. Here’s a tutorial: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-apache-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-14-04-lts

You can point your domains to whatever you like.

Hi dh370472,

You have to install cpanel/whm on your droplet. Via whm you can host many websites within the limit of your droplet size and bandwidth. you can install some free/open source like cpanel or get a license of Cpanel/WHM and install it. Let me know if you need to install cpanel/whm on your droplet.
