How Do We Install SSL / HTTPS on Website

We need to install SSL / HTTPS on our website for a shopping cart.
You have many discussions about it in your forms but I’m not sure which one we should be following.

Hello Scott, First you will need a certificate, if you haven’t already got one follow this tutorial here, the guide also will show you how to install SLL on nginx. No control panel. On a VPS it’s just command line via SSH.
do you have some control panel or just a simple lemp stack?
Not using Apache. Using Nginx.
