Hello, I am trying to change the map on my Minecraft server but I can't get to the files and folders to change it. If anyone knows how to see them and add files to them then it would be much appreciated.

Let's start at the very beginning because I am not sure how far you've gotten:

  1. Accessing your Server: Have you managed to SSH in to your server from the command line? If not read this article: How To Connect To Your Droplet with SSH

  2. Exploring directories and managing files: Once you are in, take a read through Basics of Linux Navigation and File Management

  3. Minecraft- Once you've got the linux basics down, here's a good tutorial on finding your .minecraft directory to install mods, etc.. https://floaternet.com/appdata-linux

DigitalOcean Droplets are managed using a terminal and SSH. SSH is an encrypted network protocol for remote server login and command execution. It is the standard method used for accessing and interacting with Linux servers. This tutorial shows how to connect to a DigitalOcean Droplet for the first time by using the OpenSSH client.
