How do you setup Capistrano using the Rails droplet?

I have just started out with Rails development, and I have been manually copying my source over sftp to my pre-built Rails droplet. I'd like to take this further and deploy using git and Capistrano. All of the tutorials I find take you from setting up the vps, but this part is done. I don't know if any steps performed there are crucial. How would you setup Capistrano using the Digital Ocean Rails (Rails, Unicorn and nginx) droplet?
