How is an account billed if it goes over its monthly bandwidth limit?

Say you have a 2TB transfer limit and you go over it. How would the pricing work on that?

Currently, we recommend upgrading to a higher tier of transfer/larger Droplet if you expect to go over the traffic limit, but if you do breach the limit, you may want to reach out to

At this time, we are not billing for the additional traffic, but we do monitor for overages.
