Hi, I would like to set up a node.js server with for an instant chat application. The instant chat application will be used simultaneously by 150-200 people at the same time. I would like to use the node.js server, which will be installed on DigitalOcean, for exchanging simple chat signals (for example "user is typing a message", "waiting for user to respond", etc.) between users of the chat application. No database will be used, no messages will be stored in the database, no data will be stored in the database - just plain and simple signal exchanges between users. Which pricing plan do you recommend for my needs? Anybody has an application with many simultaneous connections using node.js and How many simultaneous connections? What are your experiences using the service? Regards, Mark

512MB should be fine, I guess. You can always scale up if needed. You can't tell whether 512MB will be enough or not without trying it on a 512MB dropelt first. :]
Did you deploy this yet? I am curious to know your results.

I’d sure like to know your results too.
Please do share if you’ve tried this.
