How To access droplet only from another droplet with firewall?

I use two droplets with Docker. My first droplet A is my frontend app and it use nginx as proxy. My second droplet B is my backend app and it use DOcker. Now, i want to restrict my backend droplet by using DigitalOcean firewall but i cannot. I put the IP address of my droplet frontend in firewall backend but it does not work. how to do it please?

@dmm2019 have you considered opening the firewall on your private IP’s and then using that for the two droplets to talk together, That way you incur no traffic costs and get to enjoy less latency. Private IP’s are limited to just your account, in the past, you could connect to different users with private IPs but now they are secure :)
