How to add apex domain in the control panel

I have followed the tutorials, I have googled. But every time I add an A record in the control panel, it automatically appends www to it so for example if I add www then the record is www.www. How am I meant to get past this?

Try to type
@rather than leaving the field empty. That should do the trick for you.Hi there,
To do that, you can just enter
@as the hostname and it will default to your primary domain name without appendingwww.Let me know how it goes!
