My website has grown faster and I need to scaled it up. I am thinking of adding managed database to my current installation. How to do this so my website don’t go down?
And, is it a good choice to improve backend performance?

Hi @mdrofiqul-islam,
First, let me answer your last question, yes it is a good choice for improvement.
As to how to add it, first, you need to create the Database, you can check how to do that here:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/databases/mysql/how-to/
Once you have the Database created, you need to import a .SQL file taken from your current database there. You can check how to do that here:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/databases/mysql/how-to/import-databases/
After you have added the information you need to change the database settings in your wp-confing.php file on your Droplet where WordPress is:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/databases/mysql/how-to/connect/
That’s it, you now would’ve transferred your database to the Managed Database solution.
