  • Posted November 5, 2014
  1. I created key using puttygen.
  2. Added public key to /.ssh/authorized_keys.
  3. Restarted ssh
  4. Added ssh private key to putty, trying to connect and droplet still ask for user+password.

Hello there,

You can check these two articles in order to create your ssh-keys and then access the droplet using the PuTTY ssh-client

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/add-ssh-keys/create-with-putty/

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-create-ssh-keys-with-putty-to-connect-to-a-vps

Hope that this helps! Regards, Alex
