How to backup my backend service files?

Hello guys, can anyone teach me how to backup all the file in the cloud server? I have zero knowledge about the cloud storage but I do know how does the website hosting works, can it be like website hosting we can download all the backup file from the FTP?

Expect please guide me, thank you!

The most-complete way would be to take a snapshot of the droplet (or enable backups). At this time you cannot download snapshots or backups from the system.

If the requirement is to download a copy of the backup you can look into things like rsync, bacula, or good old fashioned tar & gz.

  • Thanks for your reply Im actually looking for people to help me backup my backend service for me. It installed in CentOS or Apeche server I don’t know about it but if you can help me maybe I can buy you a coffee or something. :)
