Hi ,i faced an issue with using putty to access my console so i have been using the console from the UI to gain access. I am currently trying to use the console to get access to my droplet, and i am keep getting the error message found in my title. I remember trying to setup new ssh keys last night but it didn’t work. I was going through the tutorials. And now i can’t even get access to the droplet even with the console

Hi @kayxpressmall,
So, there are two ways to enter your Droplet, via a password or with SSH keys.
I’ll recommend using SSH key to connect as it’s a lot more secure. DigitalOcean have a pretty good tutorial on how you can achieve this here:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/connect-with-ssh/putty/
It’s more like Documentation than a tutorial but it will still work for you.
Hi @kayxpressmall,
To access droplet from the console, the user given to log in will be “root” by default as you can see in the panel.
The Droplet console is just like your normal SSH connection but provides one-click SSH access to your Droplet without the need for a password or manual SSH key configuration. If you might have disabled the root login it is throwing you with the “All configured authentication methods failed.” message.
In this case, you can try logging in with any other user, enter the user you want to log in as in the "Log in as"section.

If you still facing issues accessing droplets, Please raise a support ticket with DO.
