How to change timescaleDB license to timescale

Hi,

I have added timescaleDB extension in Postgres managed database, while running some queries I get the below error

ERROR: functionality not supported under the current “apache” license
HINT: Upgrade your license to ‘timescale’ to use this free community feature.

How to change the timescaleDB license timescale?

Hi there,

As a database as a service provider DO only support TimescaleDB Open Source which is available under the Apache 2.0 License. The error you are getting is because you are trying to use a feature available under a community license.

Section 2.2 of the above TSL license explicitly prohibits offering functionality covered by the TSL license in any database-as-a-service offering. As such, we are unable to provide these features as part of the DigitalOcean hosted TimescaleDB service.
