Hello, I have one droplet which is up and running on Virtualmin | centos | apache for one domain. Now i want to create a new droplet for another domain without going into hassle of setting up everything from scratch.
I know a droplet can be created through snapshot. But will it be possible to create a droplet with different IP and different region with every other settings intact?
Please let me know how to proceed.
Thanks in advance.

Hello all. This new droplet has to be exactly the same size? I am using a prod server and I want to create a staging one based on a snapshop from the prod server, but much smaller
The login credentials should be the same as the ones set up on the original droplet (from which you took the snapshot).

What port did you use to connect to Webmin/Virtualmin’s web console on your original droplet?
Yes you can create a snapshot with different ip address as well as for another region. They all wouldnt be the same otherwise there would be conflicts.

Just make a snapshot, goto create another droplet, and choose “My Images” and go from there.
