  • Hi, have you managed to do the deployment? I also want to deploy a website that I’ve been working on and same as you I’ve been using Django and Next.js. Please let me know if you succeed to do it and if you could tell me the steps you did, thank you.

Hi @vashokkumar600,

You can use Nginx as a reverse Proxy and configure both to work the way you want.

Basically, you’ll create two different configuration files and make the API calls in your nextJS config file. Another solution might be using the DigitalOcean App platform to deploy a Next.js App which uses a django app to do the API calls:

In this tutorial, you will deploy a Next.js application to DigitalOcean's App Platform using a Static Export and a Custom Server.
  • Hi, could you please give an example of those two different configurations, I’m also want to deploy a django nextjs app to the digital ocean and I not sure how can I do the configuration in order to connect next js and django
