How to enable droplet after shuting down because of abusement ?

Posted on July 23, 2016

Hello all,

First of all, I must say that I have searched my problem among questions and could not find a similar one. Therefore I shared my problem with you.

According to the tickets, DigitalOcean had detected abuse from their partners. Because of this, they shutted down my droplet networking.

1- What should I do to prevent my droplet from any other attacks? 2- How can re-enable it ?

regards

@ffurkantanriverdi - I used the search bar on the top of this page and found this tutorial on a few steps to secure your server. Unless you know the extent of the attack, your best bet is to start from a fresh droplet, apply those security steps from that tutorial, and then cautiously add back data from your backups.
