I believe that DigitalOcean doesn’t provide direct support to enable the KSM feature in the kernel. The kernels provided by DigitalOcean are somewhat locked down for security and stability reasons, and advanced features like KSM might not be available directly.
However, it’s important to note that KSM operates at the hypervisor level. This means that even if you could enable it within a Droplet, it wouldn’t have the desired effect because each Droplet is isolated from the others. KSM can only merge pages between different processes within the same operating system instance, not between different Droplets.
