  1. Don’t destroy the droplet - before you copy the config of the Mikrotik RouterOS
  2. Do you have login access to the droplet using either CONSOLE or WINBOX?
  3. If you have access, have you looked at the /export option of the manual
  4. HINT: temporarily setup a NEW CHR droplet. (Should be easy for you as you set up the first CHR droplet which we will call OLD).
  5. Go to OLD CHR and EXPORT the config, save the config. Note, you can also use WINBOX more easily to export the config.
  6. Go to NEW CHR and IMPORT the config. At this moment you have to be very clever, and think about it before you do it. Do you want the IP addresses of the interfaces to stay the same? If so, then you will have to do both steps by CONSOLE, not by networking, as the CHR do not hesitate to change their IP settings when you are ready to go. So don’t interrupt your network while you try to fix it.
  7. You may have to do it in stages, but first get access, and EXPORT the config. or use WINBOX to save the config as hinted here

Ask back if you want for clarifications.
