I’m looking at this tutorial. I haven’t done any of the steps because, according to the tutorial:
If you do not have key-based updates and installations configured, you will get a prompt for connection information whenever you attempt to do either of these tasks.
I don’t get any prompt when I attempt to install themes/plugins. Does this mean my WordPress installation is already using SSH for updates? I used the one-click install with an SSH key for my root login.
So, how do I find out whether WordPress is using SSH?

WordPress only prompts you for a FTP account if it does not have write access. Your WordPress installation might have write access (Or you already set an FTP account) to update/add/delete files.
