Databases

My developer is not responding and I need to find out where my database is located. How can I do that? I don’t see any in the Databases section, but my site is operating fine, so it got to be somewhere :)

Hello,

In case that you are not using a Managed database cluster, your database is mostlikely located on your server itself.

If you are using MySQL for example you could access the database by first accessing your server via SSH and then run the following command:

mysql

This will open a MySQL command prompt where you could run your SQL queries.

Alternatively, depending on what you want to achieve once you access the database, you could configure an SQL client like MySQL Workbench as described here:

Use MySQL Workbench to connect securely to your remote MySQL database using SSH.
