How to install additional languages to app platform?

I have a Django project for which I use a french locale for some dates and functions, I am deploying using Digital Ocean App Plateform which use Heroku for the build pack, I cannot figure out how to add a new language to my server.
I have tried the following :
- sudo apt-get install language-support-fr # Does not work as I don’t have sudo rights
- Adding a .locales to my app root project with the language code # Does not work
I do not find anything in the documentation nor StackOverflow, thank you

I believe that this is not available out of the box when using the Buildpacks. What you could do instead is to use a
Dockerfileto deploy your application as described here:https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/app-platform/reference/dockerfile/
That way you can install any custom packages that you might need.
The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.
