MySQL Databases Ubuntu 18.04 LEMP Nginx

I have a LEMP droplet. Since phpmyadmin is not available in a Nginx server, I want to install Adminer so that i can manage my Wordpress database. Please include all the steps in your answer. I’ll be very thankful to you.

Hello,

I assume you already have MySQL installed so you would need to download adminer to your server.

You can use this script to install and configure adminer on your server:

https://gist.github.com/zloynemec/1e4680c4c9aa9cee8a6e#file-adminer_setup-sh

You can simply wget the script

wget https://gist.github.com/zloynemec/1e4680c4c9aa9cee8a6e#file-adminer_setup-sh

then make it executable:

chmod +x adminer_setup.sh

You will then have adminer available and you can access it via your preferred browser

You can also do this manually if you like by using the described steps in the script. It’s totally up to you.

Let us know how it goes.

  • I tried the steps mentioned in the script but navigating to http://165.227.197.220/adminer does not bring up the adminer login screen. I did comment out the second server node in /etc/nginx/sites-available/admin as I do not need https(for the time being).
    What am I missing?
