Guys, I am low on Budget and want to install Discourse on DigitalOcean but whenever I try to create a new droplet, it says that I can’t install Discourse on a $5 droplet even though space and Ram is Increased by DigitalOcean.
Is there any way by which we can install Discourse on top of Ubuntu Droplet ($5)?
Regards, Cathy

Hi there @Cathy1020,
As far as I can see from the description here, Discourse requires at least 2GB of RAM.
You can try to set up a Droplet with 1GB of RAM and add 2GB of swap and see if this works. Here’s how to do that:
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-add-swap-space-on-ubuntu-16-04
Note that it is highly not recommended to do that. You should always have more RAM than swap, otherwise, your system would be really slow as it would swap all the time.
I would advise stick with the recommended resource requirements to ensure the stability of the system.
Hope that this helps! Regards, Bobby
