How to install multiple squid proxies on single droplet?

I needed multiple proxies for a new project. I can install a squid proxy on a server. But is there anyway to run multiple squid proxies on single droplet using floating ips so that i dont need to maintain multiple droplets?

Hi!

Each Droplet can only have one Floating IP attached to it at a time, so you would only be able to have two different IPs per Droplet. Is that what you were trying to do?

    Ok thanks.
    What I am trying to do is I need to connect to a website but it wont allow more than 2 connections from single IP. So I want to install squid proxy on a droplet and connect to website through it. I need to run 20+ connections. So I need atleast 10 proxies. Acc to you I can have 2 ips per droplet.
    What do I need to do to use floating IP as proxy along with original IP? Any extra configuration needed?

      You can configure Squid to listen on two IP addresses by adding the following lines to the config file located at /etc/squid/squid.conf:

      acl ip1 myip 1.2.3.4
tcp_outgoing_address 1.2.3.4 ip1

acl ip2 myip 1.2.3.5
tcp_outgoing_address 1.2.3.5 ip2

      I strongly recommend respecting the website’s 2 connections per IP rule and spreading out your connections over a larger period of time, with up to 2 connections at a time. If that does not work for you, reach out to the website’s owners and see if they can help you out with your project.

It includes HTTP proxy with HTTPS and FTP support, SOCKSv4/SOCKSv4.5/SOCKSv5 proxy (socks/socks.exe), POP3 proxy, SMTP proxy, AIM/ICQ proxy (icqpr/icqpr.exe), MSN messenger / Live messenger proxy (msnpr/msnpr.exe), FTP proxy, caching DNS proxy, TCP and UDP portmappers.
You can use every proxy as a standalone program (socks, proxy, tcppm, udppm, pop3p) or use combined program (3proxy). Combined proxy additionally supports features like access control, bandwidth limiting, limiting daily/weekly/monthly traffic amount, proxy chaining, log rotation, syslog and ODBC logging, etc.
