How to make Database Cluster Alert Policies work using tags and Slack

When in Databases -> some db cluster -> Insights -> Manage Alert Policies, I can’t get the following two things to work:
(1) selecting db clusters via tags: any tags I select are gone after I save (getting a successful message) and re-open
(2) choosing a Slack notification: the check-box of an existing Slack connection (which is successfully used in droplet alert policies) gets un-checked after I save (again, getting a successful message) and re-open.
From the UI as well as from the documentation I get the idea that both things are supposed to work… any ideas?
