Since DO native isn’t a managed WordPress platform,so, you have no direct option to migrate a large WordPress website/store to DigitalOcean droplet. BTW, why are you migrating your website to DO native server?
I did migrate my website to LiteSpeed web server for better performance but it’s quite complex to run and optimize the stack.
I hired someone to migrate & manage my DigitalOcean droplet. He pushed some ZIP file from Cloudways to DO, I don’t exactly remember but overall I invested a lot of time & money to run my 3 WordPress websites and 1 WooCommerce store. After sometime, I moved to Cloudways and I’m having a great performance with DigitalOcean (Cloudways) so far. The performance is brilliant because of their optimized stack (NGINX & APACHE) and moreover, they offer Redis - Object Cache Pro for free. If you are running a big/large WordPress site then I hope you’re already familiar with the scope of Redis & its impact on site performance.
