Is there a way to permanently disable THP (Transparent Huge Pages) on debian 7 x64 guest setting transparent_hugepage_defrag=never in order to calm down mongodb warnings on perfomance degrade connected with their use. Have tried rc.local command and grub config kernel parameter with no luck. Think KVM settings override those of mine.

What commands have you added to /etc/rc.local? Unfortunately droplets do not use grub so editing its config file won’t have any effect.
