how to prevent from deleting "uploads" directory in each deployment in App platform?

Is there any way to tell App platform to stop deleting static directories like “uploads” in each git deployment for Node.js app

In order to do that, you would need to use a persistent volume like Spaces for example.

For Node.js applications, you could follow the instructions from this step by step tutorial on how to upload a file to an object storage with Node.js:

That way your files will be uploaded to the Spaces bucket rather than the local storage of the App container and will not be lost.
