Hello, all

The system performs a DNS lookup to see if the domain has already been added to DigitalOcean. If it has, you’ll receive a message that says Data domain example.com: Name already exists. If the domain has not been previously added to DigitalOcean’s DNS service, it will be added.

In our public community, we aim to answer open questions about anything SysAdmin, DigitalOcean and beyond. However, we make every attempt to keep personal information safe and so don’t ever access personal account information here. This means we can’t provide help with any account or billing-related issues.

Hey @logomistllcgmail-com,

So, the system is detecting your Domain as it already exists in the system. In such cases, it’s best to reach DigitalOcean’s support as they are the only ones that would have access to such information or accounts and help you resolve the issue.
