How to safely reboot droplet?

Please, help me with the steps to rebbot without data corruption.

Usually performing a reboot from your Digital Ocean’s control panel should be fine. Additionally, if you SSH into your droplet and type

reboot

Should be fine as well.

If you however are still concerned about data corruption, usually databases are the ones experiencing corruption. To avoid it, wait when there are no queries being executed and stop your instance of SQL installed on the droplet. Once done, you can reboot the server however you want.
