Hi, I have created a droplet and install app on it. However the app wont be used until 3 months later and i see that if I just power it off I still get billed for it. Is there another way to turn of the server temporarily and not charge for it and turn it on after 3 months

I would suggest you power off your droplet, make a Snapshot, and then destroy your droplet. You will pay for the cost of the storage (currently free - later 0.02/GB/Month) - and then when you need to spin up - just make a new droplet from your snapshot.
