How to setup a domaine name for my hosting ?

Hi, I want to buy the $5/month plane to try your service, I want to creat a domaine name and use FileZella to transfer my site to it, is it possible ? do you have any tutorials about that ? Do i need to install Linux in my computer in stend of Windos 7 to do it ?

DigitalOcean might not be the place for you, since it requires that you setup and maintain server Linux/FreeBSD through command line.
Read through this guide - if you're not scared away, then it's pretty straight forward after you've setup the server.
