I purchased 5$ ubuntu server for hosting Call of Duty server. I got some related articals to host COD4 server on ubuntu. But unfortunately, i couldn't host COD4 multiplayer. Please guide me to host Call of Duty server on digitalocean server.
1) DigitalOcean has VPSes not Dedicated Servers
2) the $5 plan only has 512MB which would be far far far too little to host a gaming server
3) Without knowing what went wrong, its hard to figure out whats wrong.
He meant dedicated from the game's point of view, not dedicated hardware, I believe.
