I have a domain name in ionos.co.uk. I want to map that Domain name with a Droplet in DigitalOcean. Can I get a full guide on how to do this?

If you will manage the DNS with IONOS you can simply create an A record from their control panel/dashboard and create/update the A record to match the IP address of your droplet.
The other option will be to manage the DNS within your DigitalOcean account. In order to do that you will need to update your nameservers to:
From this point, the DNS records will now be managed from your DigitalOcean account and not IONOS.

If you want to keep the DNS record management within IONOS, you can create records against your domain in IONOS’ control panel pointing to your Droplet’s IP address.
For example, let’s say you wanted the www.yourdomain.com to point to your Droplet, you would create:
You can also manage your domain’s DNS records within DigitalOcean but keep the registration with IONOS.
To do this, create your domain and the above records in DigitalOcean.
Within IONOS, you should have an option to change your domain’s nameservers. Change them to:
From then on, you don’t need to go into IONOS other than to renew your domain each year or so - all the DNS records will be in DO.
