How to setup second wordpress on same wordpress droplet?

I have followed this tutorial: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-apache-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-16-04

But, now the problem is my second domain also pointing to the first WordPress site. what’s gone wrong?

Hi there @arg6063,

I could suggest a couple of things:

  • Make sure that the new document root that you are using is writable for Apache:
  1. sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/example.com/public_html
  • Check your Apache error logs for more information:
  1. tail -100 /var/log/apache/error.log

Also, did you clone your existing website or was it a new WordPress website that you setup?
