In first place you’ll need to obtain the SSL Certificate itself, this can happen via commercial SSL provider or via Let’s Encrypt for example. Then you can install the SSL on your droplet for the domain name.

Here is a step by step guide on how to complete the process:

  1. Create or obtain an SSL certificate for your domain.
  2. Install and configure a web server that supports SSL, such as Apache, Nginx, or Caddy.
  3. Deploy your SSL certificate and configure your web server to use the certificate.
  4. Update your DNS records to point to your server’s IP address.

As mentioned you can also use Let’s Encrypt to obtain a free SSL certificate and automate the process.
