In first place you’ll need to obtain the SSL Certificate itself, this can happen via commercial SSL provider or via Let’s Encrypt for example. Then you can install the SSL on your droplet for the domain name.

As mentioned you can also use Let’s Encrypt to obtain a free SSL certificate and automate the process.
