I wanted to write a tutorial about a backup and recovery product that I have been working on. I am not sure where to start for writing the tutorial. When I sign it to ‘Write for DOnations’, it says that they are not looking for new authors and I need to check in by May 2022. Not sure how to proceed from there. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there,
What I could suggest is to keep a close eye on this page, as DigitalOcean has only temporarily halted new Write4DO proposals. There’s a possibility they may reopen the program in the future, so staying informed by regularly checking the page might lead to an opportunity to contribute your valuable tutorial.
I would recommend carefully reading all of the requirements and also practicing writing on other developer forums like DEV.to and DevDojo.com. That way you will be prepared and have a list of tutorials that you’ve already written once the Write4DO program stats again.
hope that this helps!
Best,
Bobby
