How to tranfer blue host domain to digital ocean wordpress droplet?

i want to transfer my bluehost domain to digital ocean droplet. i do all necessary dns settings for domain on digital ocean but still my site is not connected to the domain.

What you could do is:

  • Add your domain to your DigitalOcean account as per the steps here:

  • After that add an A record for your domain name to point to your Droplet’s IP address and add a CNAME record for www to point to your domain name, as per the steps here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/networking/dns/how-to/manage-records/

  • Then change your nameservers via Bluehost to ns1.digitalocean.com, ns2.digitalocean.com, and ns3.digitalocean.com.

Note that once you’ve made the DNS changes it could take up to 24/48 hours for the DNS cache to clear over the Globe before you could see the new DNS records and your website.
