Hi, my tech guys are trying to upload the files via ftp to host instead of vps. They are facing trouble uploading.
Is uploading to host vs vps possible? If so, what are the steps required?
Yes, that's possible.
I don't know what your setup is, but usually you can use these settings with your favourite client:
Protocol: choose SFTP
Server: your full domain name or IP
user name: your sudo username (use "root" if you didn't create a new user yet)
Port: default port is 22 (except you changed that manually)
Fill in your password and you should be good to go.
P.S.: allow me to note that it's pretty strange that you request solutions for your "tech guys". that's their job isn't it?
